Dear Hazel and August,

I am writing to you on the most beautiful, clear night here in the North Pole, where the stars are twinkling, carols are being sung, and the smell of gingerbread is in the air. Oh, how I love this time of year! I wonder, Hazel and August, if it’s your favourite time of year too?

With Christmas almost upon us, I am spending much of my time in the toy workshop – making toys, wrapping presents and mapping my journey around the world. There is still so much to do! Children often ask me how I can make and deliver so many presents across the entire world on Christmas Eve. The answer is simple… Magic!

Magic is what powers the toy workshop. It’s what makes my sleigh and reindeer fly, and even how I can fit through the tiniest of chimneys! Magic is in everything we do here at the North Pole, which is why it is the most wonderful place in the world!

The most wonderful thing about magic, Hazel and August, is that the more you believe in it, the more it grows! 

So, my dear friends, my Christmas wish for you is to believe. Believe in the magic of Christmas, believe in the goodness of others, and most of all, believe in yourself. Because when you do, you will find that magic takes us to places we never dreamed possible!
