For each personalised letter we will include your specified name throughout the narrative. We have used the name "Cooper" here to illustrate where your child's name would appear. We also place your specified sign off in the letter, here illustrated by "Daddy and Dada".

Please also note that we request your child's gender and their new sibling's gender (if known). This allows us to use the phrase brother or sister accordingly, or sibling if your baby's gender is unknown. In the example below the child's gender is male and the newborn's gender is female.

 

Dearest Cooper,

We are so excited to share some wonderful news with you... You are going to be a big brother! Before long we will be welcoming a new little baby girl into our family, and we can’t wait to introduce you to them!

Becoming a big brother is such an amazing privilege, one that will bring you so much joy. It also means that you now have a very important job - to always look out for your little sister. Luckily, you are already perfect for your new role as you are the most kind, thoughtful and loving little boy we know. It is these qualities which make the best big brothers, and the baby is very lucky to have you, Cooper! 

Even though we know you’ll be a fantastic big brother, there is going to be a lot of change over the next little while. On days where you might feel unsettled or unsure what is going on, we want you to know that you are always so loved, so special, and so important to Daddy and Dada - and that will never change.

We are so proud of you and the wonderful person you are becoming, Cooper! We love you with our whole hearts and we cannot wait for new adventures together as our family grows a little bigger.
